The prices posted on the Web are the current prices at that point in time but are subject to change without notice due to fluctuations in delivery and purchase cost based on volumes. We will try to honour any price you see posted unless there is a reason not to do so.

Return Policy
We recognize that sometimes you make an error and purchase the wrong thing and to take care of this our return policy is:

All hardware equipment, except special orders and memory modules:
Packages opened or unopened may be returned within 10 days but are subject to a restocking fee of 15%. The original packing materials must be used and the item(s) must be in saleable condition, or a return is not possible. We will issue a store credit for any return when we have determined the state of the item(s) less any appropriate restocking fee.

Please note all software, consumables and memory in opened packages may not be returned.
Any unopened packages may be returned within 10 days subject to the restocking fee of 15%.

Special Orders that are no longer required or not collected will forfeit the deposit paid to place the order or if returned after the sale will be held and we will try to resell the item for you and credit your account with the sale amount less a restocking fee (15%).

Please note that no cash, cheques or credit card refunds will be issued. A store credit will be given and must be used within six months or it expires.

Note also that any Labour, delivery and installation charges are not refundable.

In the event of a premature hardware failure, our warranty will apply (please see below).

Manufacturers’ Warranty

This warranty is documented in every product purchased at G-Wiz (or Gateway) and honoured by us in Bermuda.

All Warranty service is Depot Service unless arrangements are made otherwise (and for On-site a labour service fee may be charged).

Note that hardware only is covered by the Manufacturers’ Warranty and not software. Warranty also does not cover installation or setup, abuse or misuse, poor environment e.g. power surge and lightning damage. Software issues are not covered by the warranty except for reinstallation of the factory set operating systems on relevant equipment. Labour will be charged at our current rates.

 

Warranty Repairs
Our systems track the sale of item with a serial number and the warranty period and we stock enough parts to deal with most situations. We do respond to warranty service request within two working days and if it is going to require manufacturer intervention (unit to be shipped away or part sent) then we will advise you of an estimated time to repair.
